Cellulite is a build-up of toxins from a bad diet

Cellulite is a build-up of toxins from a bad diet

Don't we all hate this statement? Cellulite isn't even a disorder! It's just what happens to women's thighs.

Cellulite as a 'problem' is largely a creation of the cosmetics industry, which makes millions out of selling 'cures'.

In his book Stop Telling Nutrition Fibs, nutritionist Glen Cardwell quotes correspondence from Professor Terry Ryan, Clinical Professor of Dermatology, Oxford:

"Cellulite is a gradual degeneration of the connective tissue supporting fat cells. It is age-related and accelerated by interstitial fluid collection, excessive fat… and possibly by female hormones."

Glen explains why men don't get cellulite: "Men have a different connective tissue pattern on their hips, thighs and buttocks… Men also have thicker skin (there's got to be a one-liner in there)… and men rarely suffer fluid retention."

He also warns against confusing cellulite with obesity: "They can exist independently of each other." And being overweight certainly won't help the appearance of any dimpled skin. But even thin people can have cellulite.

The bottom line: Myth
Learn to love those dimples. Eating well is a great idea for overall health, but nothing you eat will make cellulite disappear (and don't get us started on the lotions and potions!).

prevent dengue fever (DBD)

prevent dengue fever (DBD)

Symptoms of dengue fever or dengue fever and typhoid have some similarities. Both diseases are characterized by fever high enough to interfere with activities of sufferers. If one knows the type of the illness could lead to mishandling the patients, it can even cause death. Any difference between dengue fever and typhoid?Cause

Dengue fever

Dengue fever is caused by Dengue virus, which is why the disease is also known as dengue hemorrhagic fever that was shortened to dengue. There are 4 types of Dengue virus, which is why in some cases of dengue fever patients that the symptoms are different from other dengue fever patients. The disease is transmitted from one patient to another patient through the aedes aegypti mosquito. These mosquitoes bite during the day ordinary. Mosquitoes that suck the blood of patients with DHF and then biting someone else healthy to make a virus that is moving to a healthy person and would cause a person is suffering from Dengue Fever.

typhus

Typhus is caused by bacteria called Salmonella typhi. These bacteria exist in the fast growing in places that are dirty. The spread of these bacteria aided by insects carrying bacteria such as flies or other insects. These bacteria can be present in food or drink and will go into the body of people who consume them. That is the cause of a person can be exposed to typhoid.

Part Attacked

Dengue fever

Dengue viruses cause bleeding in body organs of patients. Red spots usually appear in patients showed bleeding inside the body. If it is severe, bleeding can occur in vital organs that can lead to death.

typhus

Typhoid bacteria invade the intestine, causing injury to the intestine. Furthermore, we will attack the liver, spleen and gallbladder.

symptom

Dengue fever

In patients with dengue fever, symptoms commonly encountered are:

High heat, generally> 38 degrees Celsius.

Body aches or muscle aches, headache, chills, a waste water or vomit.

Red spots appear. These symptoms may not appear if the fever is experienced only briefly. How to see these red spots with a tourniquet test is to clamp blood vessels much like when you want to check your blood pressure. After this stage, usually red spots will appear.

After the third day, usually fever will come down and the patient may feel is cured but after that fever can strike back. At this time you should be careful not to assume that had healed and do not maintain their health.

typhus

In patients with typhoid fever, the symptoms are as follows:

Initially, experienced fever is not too high, and the temperature will continue to rise gradually until> 38 degrees Celsius.

Especially at night, the temperature will rise and will go down in the morning. This is what distinguishes typhus fever with dengue fever.

Abdominal pain and diarrhea.

Cough and sore throat.

ExaminationThe most appropriate way to determine whether someone is suffering from dengue or typhoid fever is to perform the examination. Consult a doctor and usually to be sure, the doctor will ask for a blood test. By taking a patient's blood can be known with certainty what diseases suffered.

Dengue fever

In patients with dengue fever, the examination is done by checking the number of platelets. If the platelet decline, typically <100,000 / ul, someone will be diagnosed with dengue fever. However, if the fever is just one day can not be known because the platelet count is still normal. In cases like this, you can come back to the doctor to check the platelet count if they have a fever. At a more sophisticated examination, it can be known whether the blood contains dengue virus or not. So, if the number of platelets in the blood are normal but positive for dengue virus means that you have dengue fever.

typhus

To find out if you are having typhoid or not, it will be Widal test. Checked on the test is whether the blood contains antibodies against the bacteria Salmonella typhi. If the results show> 1/160 means you are suffering from typhus. Other checks can be done by examining the stools of patients for the stool of patients typhoid bacteria Salmonella typhi.

Treatment

Dengue fever

There is no specific drug to treat dengue fever patients because there is no vaccine for dengue virus kill. Things can be done is to ensure that patients do not become dehydrated. If the patient can not eat well, experiencing diarrhea or vomiting, it helps the patient to be hospitalized in order to be helped by an infusion so that patient endurance is stronger. In patients with dengue fever no dietary restrictions.

typhus

For the treatment of typhoid, would usually be given antibiotics to kill the bacteria. To heal the injured intestine, the food eaten should not be hard not to force the ailing gut. Rice porridge team or become food consumed by the patient. Also avoid acidic and spicy foods.

Prevention

Dengue fever

As often echoed, to prevent, in particular prevents the breeding of aedes aegypti mosquito which is the means of transmission of dengue fever is to perform the movement 3 M. The definition motion 3 M is the bathtub drain at least 1 week, to close water reservoirs, and perhaps bury secondhand goods unused that could potentially be a puddle of rainwater.

typhus

Meanwhile, to prevent typhoid is to keep the environment clean so that the typhoid bacteria can not breed. Choose foods and beverages that are clean for consumption. In addition, it is important to maintain the condition of the body to keep fit. With a strong immune system to prevent dengue fever or dengue fever and typhoid befall us
